You can link an auction to your garage sale. This helps in a number of ways. You can have people view the item at your sale (so they can see what they're bidding on). Also, it may open up bidding to people that normally wouldn't be able to get to your garage sale.
We recommend this for higher value items, or for items that are smaller that you could ship to an out of town bidder.

A couple things are key to making this work. One, have good items to sell, and take good pictures of them. This will make people want to come to your sale, and have first shot at these items. Secondly, you need to respect the fact these people are paying a premium, and give them a few minutes to view your items before letting the next person into your sale.

The map works like any other Google Map. To see the sales near your home, use the sliding scale on the left to zoom in and out.
Once in your neighborhood, click on a 'marker' to get more information about the sale.
